Episode 23: An Inside-Out House
Our home was designed to maximize the view, ocean and forest, from almost every room, both upstairs and down. It was also designed to, over time, disappear into the trees.
Since bringing in the views of the ocean, forest and sky was paramount, we used very large windows with no roof overhang or large covered porches that would obstruct or narrow our views.
Except for the master bedroom and library, we are
going without window coverings. We might add some later, but maybe not. (Hey, no peeking!!).
